We are the data controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy. If you have questions about how we process your personal data, you can contact us at privacy@micdobro.com.

1. Visiting the website

1.1 The website uses necessary cookies and, if you consent, cookies for statistics (Google Analytics) and marketing (Meta and Google Ads). You can read more and change your choice in our cookie policy.

1.2 Our hosting provider may collect basic server log data such as IP address, browser type and time for security and operational purposes.

1.3 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(a) (consent) for statistics and marketing, and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest) for server logs.

2. The online test

2.1 When you complete the test on micdobro.com, we store your answers, your result, the time, your browser type, the page you came from, and a pseudonymised (hashed) version of your IP address. We do not ask for your name or email.

2.2 The purpose is to improve the test and understand how it is used.

2.3 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in developing and improving the test).

2.4 We delete the data automatically after 6 months.

3. Communication with potential customers

3.1 When you contact us by email, phone or booking, we process the personal data you give us (typically name, email and phone number) in order to respond to your enquiry.

3.2 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

3.3 We delete the data when it is clear whether you wish to use our services, unless a customer relationship is established.

4. Customers

4.1 When you become a customer, we process your name, contact details, company name, CVR number, payment information and communication related to the engagement.

4.2 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract).

4.3 We retain customer data for at least 5 years after the end of the customer relationship in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven).

5. Booking

5.1 We use TidyCal (booking.micdobro.com) for booking. When you book a meeting, TidyCal processes your name, your email and the information you give in the booking form.

5.2 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering into a contract).

5.3 We may also use a pre-meeting form (Tally.so) to collect information relevant to the engagement. The information is used solely to prepare for the meeting.

6. Videos

6.1 The videos in the test result are delivered by Bunny.net. When a video is shown, Bunny.net receives your IP address and technical information about your browser in order to play the video.

6.2 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in showing video content).

7. Newsletter

7.1 We send the Signal-to-Noise Ratio newsletter to subscribers who have actively signed up.

7.2 We process your email address (and your name, if you provide it) to send the newsletter.

7.3 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(a) (consent).

7.4 You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email. If we have not sent a newsletter for 12 months, your consent lapses.

7.5 After unsubscribing, we keep evidence of your previous consent for 2 years in accordance with the Danish Consumer Ombudsman's guidelines.

8. Payment

8.1 When you buy a service online, we process your name, your email and your payment information.

8.2 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract).

8.3 Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

9. Bookkeeping

9.1 We are required to keep all accounting records for at least 5 years under the Danish Bookkeeping Act. This includes invoices and related documents that may contain personal data such as name, address and description of services.

9.2 Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(c) (legal obligation).

10. Data processors

10.1 We use the following external data processors:

  • Google Workspace (US): email and calendar.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited): statistics, only with consent.
  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited): ad measurement, only with consent.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited: ad measurement (Meta Pixel), only with consent.
  • Bunny.net (SI): video delivery.
  • Dinero (DK): bookkeeping and invoicing.
  • Stripe (IE): payment.
  • TidyCal (US): booking.
  • Tally.so (BE): forms.
  • SendFox (US): newsletter and email automation.
  • Loom (US): video recording and sharing.
  • BreezeDoc (DK): digital signatures.
  • Bitwarden (US): password management.
  • Effihub (DK): time registration and customer portal.
  • DigitalOcean (US): cloud hosting, data centre in the EU (Germany).
  • OVH (FR): cloud hosting.

10.2 We place high demands on our data processors and make sure data processing agreements are in place to protect your personal data.

11. Disclosure and transfers to third countries

11.1 We do not sell your personal data.

11.2 We only disclose personal data to our accountant (bookkeeping), the Danish Tax Agency (Skattestyrelsen) and the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) when the law requires it.

11.3 Some of our data processors are located outside the EU/EEA. In that case, we ensure an adequate level of protection through the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

12. Your rights

12.1 Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: You can ask to see what data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: You can ask to have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Right to erasure: In certain cases, you can ask to have your data deleted.
  • Right to restriction: In certain cases, you can ask for processing to be restricted.
  • Right to data portability: You can ask to receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

13. Withdrawal of consent

13.1 Where processing is based on your consent (e.g. newsletter, statistics and marketing cookies), you can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
