Education
I studied on 3 universities in two different countries. Formal education solidified my passion and gave me proper foundations, so that I could fully use the potential in further development of my skills.
2002 - 2005: After 5 semesters I moved to Denmark (Socrates grant) where I obtained a BSc at IHK. Fully English-taught.
2005 - 2006: Continued after leaving Silesian University of Technology (Politechnika Slaska, Poland). Finished with a financial reward for good results. BSc title: "2D FFT in Image Processing: measurements, implementation, parallelization and computer architecture". Fully English-taught.
2006 - 2008: MSc title: "Secure web services in resource constrained systems". Fully English-taught.

Areas and Technologies
I am a generalist, which means I have a very broad knowledge of multiple web technologies that span across the whole production cycle: frontend, backend and infrastructure.
I specialize in web technologies, therefore one can expect that I know many programming languages and frameworks that target this area.
Since I am also working a lot with backends, servers and in general - specialized software - I do know also additional languages and frameworks.
I know both classical Server Side Rendered web pages as well as modern SPAs.
I usually joke and say that I was a DevOps before it was "cool".
I specialize in Open Source infrastructure where everything is based on Linux.
I know also various cloud providers, although my preferred ones are Digital Ocean and Amazon.
My programming skills give ma huge advantage when it comes to custom automations and managed infrastructure systems.
